Pandamander's Projector Platformer

Have you ever wished your game platformer hero could run around...your real life house? This was the idea I had that led to this Projector Platformer prototype. The idea is you build a level that lets you run on top of your real table/room/shelf. It can be used for an interactive digital display.

How to set up:

1. Get a projector and hook it up to your laptop/computer
2. Run the game
3. Set up some objects in real life
4. Use mouse to draw the collision of the real life objects on top of the level editor
5. Press "Enter" to go into play mode
6. Jump have your digital hero jump around your real life home!

Controls

• A/D or Control Pad - Move character
• Space Bar or Control Pad Button - Jump
• L - Load Level
• S - Save Level
• Enter/Return - Toggle Editor/Play Mode
• R - Reset
• 1 - Paint terrain/collision with mouse
• 2 - Paint bouncy block with mouse
• 3 - Paint water block with mouse
• 0 - Eraser

There's a lot of ideas of things I'd like to do in the future if I ever come back to it.

Some notes on making good levels:

• I've found that plants work well for bouncy blocks.
• For swimming, empty clear glasses work well. I found if you put water in them, you can't see the character anymore.

To open on Mac, Right Click the file, then click "Open". It will not work if you Left Click to open
